Our passion is people and in helping people we have a 5-Focus effort at VFC that guides us. In Acts 2:47 the Scripture says that they were “…praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”

It seems this community of believers was so passionate and winsome about Jesus that it resulted in great favor with their city—and people were eager to find out more about this "eternal life". The desire and energy poured into this life of faith brought great increase to the local church.

We realize that we can only be effective when we live by the standards we lead by. Our call is to be such a difference-making church; so much, that if the doors of our church would close the community would grieve the loss.

We want to impact people on the personal level. We are here to strengthen the family unit—for marrieds and unmarried. We are here to serve our city. When it comes down to it, it is all about Jesus--Him working in and through each of us.
