Tommy and his wife Rebecca were born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They attended school together and were married at nineteen years of age. Their first ministry assignment, at age 20, was for Gilcrease Hills Southern Baptist Church in Tulsa.

After graduating Bible school, they both served full time in pastoral ministry and have itinerated in non-denominational settings for over 20 years. They moved to California in 2009 and have recently pioneered Valley Family Church with an existing group of believers.

Tommy and Rebecca bring a life-giving mixture of humor, wisdom, and joy to the attenders at VFC. Motivated with compassion, the clear-cut teaching of the Word is empowering people to move forward in their lives. The vision is clear; its people that matter to God and His plan is to reach people, empower them and send them into the harvest.

Tommy and Rebecca are watching a growing number of people come alongside them and serve a purpose and fulfill a calling from God to bring healing to the central valley. People appreciate the wisdom, tenacity and acceptance from these senior leaders.

Besides pastoring, Tommy & Rebecca's ministry of leadership development has taken them into 45 of the 50 states, 22 foreign countries, and they have worked with leaders of churches with attendance from 80 to 8000. Tommy has a pioneering mindset and is known to encourage other leaders to expand their vision and develop their ministry team. Besides being a capital stewardship coach for pastors, he possesses tremendous expertise for the local church in regards to administration, membership process, and lay-ministry/lay leader development.
